The love of my life and I are in the middle of raising a 13mo, and a 4 year old. And while the days are long, they seem to blend into a series of disjointed moments. Moments of happiness, chaos, self doubt, support for one another, loneliness, and sheer bliss.
But on average, I'd say the occasions were most consistently in the space of contentment and awe we are outdoors. Often moving our bodies to exhaustion, sometimes by carrying out kids.
We always follow the rules, but bringing shells, acorns, leaves, reminders of those sacred and healing spaces. Being blessed with all that I have, skills, opportunity, support of an incredible partner, and kids that are not only healthy, but thriving. It's the least I can do to hopefully bring some of that natural light into as many homes and lives as possible.
